Decanter World Wine Awards awarded the 2015 vintage Bronze

Reds had this wine with Chef Greg’s Shrimp & Mac – it was smooth and delicious – good with seafood.

img_1539Reds had this with Chef Greg’s Pork Parmesan.   This is a blend of Sangiovese (60%) and Syrah (40%) from Tuscany.  Dark ruby in color with a smooth and rich mouthfeel.  A steal at only $14.99

prt_14601_prtbigpic_20150902_152821This is a beautiful wine from California – the only red/white blend I’ve ever tasted.  Serve Tess slightly chilled to taste the bright berries and nice balance.

This wine was produced by Rob Mondavi Jr. What a nice bottle of wine for the price.  This merlot is luscious and smooth, perfect for a casual dinner of burgers on the grill.

The 2012 Torii Mor Willamette Valley Pinot Noir has aromas of dark cherries with notes of vanilla.  The black cherry comes forward with some spice and opens up to sweet soft tannins. The finish is bright and the heat from the alcohol carries the dark fruit flavors.  Reds enjoyed this wine with beef and spinach pinwheels.

IMG_0487This Pinot Noir is from the Veneto region in Italy.  This was a light wine with fresh fruit flavors and paired very well with pork chops.  Quite enjoyable!
